Greenland – the biggest island on the planet. A beautiful and remote frontier dominated by ice. But a land that is under threat.

Join us on a voyage to discover majestic wildlife, stunning scenery and its people. And how climate change is reshaping this extraordinary landscape.

We travel to world heritage ice fjords, the vast ice sheet and are welcomed into fishing communities. The goal is to reach the northern-most human settlement on our planet.

We uncover the island’s fascinating history in an abandoned coal mining village where the buildings stand empty and hear of a British disaster story involving ships and crew being trapped in the ice.

The abundance of life here is staggering; muskox, arctic terns which undertakes the largest migration than any animal, narwal whales and the largest land predator - the polar bear. We will discover just how fragile Greenland’s eco-system is.

We meet the Inuit community - who have mastered this hostile landscape. We travel by dog sled to learn about traditional fishing and hunting techniques, try local foods and how to survive minus 40 degree Celsius!

This is an awe-inspiring journey. All the more so because of the critical threat of global warming and how it is affecting the country’s climate and way of life.
