A post production company based in Norwich, set up in 2014 to facilitate the technical production and post needs of Tin Can Island. We are committed to delivering high quality content for television and digital media. Working with UK, US and worldwide productions, the company is an end to end solution for programme production and delivery from data wrangling rushes to final tape, file or DPP AS-11 delivery to the client.
Tin Can Post is “on-boarded” for AS-11 DPP Delivery with most major UK Channels delivery points, meaning no 3rd party involvement is necessary. We are mainly an Avid based post house, but we have facilities available for most other common editing systems, both Mac and PC.

Allen, technical engineer to the stars for over 16 years, supervises post production at Tin Can Island: Tin Can Post. He designs, implements and project manages all aspects of the post production process from inception to delivery. Allen oversees the technical quality of Tin Can Post and applies an innovative and creative use of all forms of broadcast technology to achieve pioneering media workflows' within both a production and a post production environment.
Andrea is a senior media executive with over twenty five years experience of UK and international television broadcasting and production, creative content creation, programme development and production, broadcasting, co-production funding and international markets.
She is an award winning and international producer of high quality wildlife, science and popular factual programming, with a long track record with the UK and US networks including ITV1, BBC2, BBC4, Channel 4, Discovery Networks International and National Geographic Channels.
Andrea worked at ITV for almost twenty years in a variety of roles including Deputy Director of Programmes Anglia Television, Controller of Factual Programmes for ITV Studios and Creative Director of ITV Studios Norwich. She left in 2012 to set up Tin Can Island.
As a once struggling tennis professional failing to make a living on the world circuit Johnny found an alternative career as a film editor. Over the last twenty years he has edited major and groundbreaking documentaries for all the major channels. There have been accolades and awards but in truth he would have swapped it all, the glamour, the money, the drunken nights at the BAFTAs, for a Wimbledon title!
